Arizona Teardrop Adventures does everything we can to make the rental process as streamline and straight forward as possible.
You are just a few steps away from enjoying your next Adventure.
Arizona Teardrop Adventures realizes that towing something that you are not familiar with towing can be stressful, that's why we partner with Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy offers industry leading insurance protection for both the RV owner and RV renter. Visit Outdoorsy's website directly for more information on insurance coverage. Insurance Info
We have some basic requirements listed below to ensure you have a safe adventure using our Teardrop Trailers.
Vehicle Requirements - Delivery is offered in case your vehicle does not meet the requirements
Towing Capacity of 2500 lbs or greater
7 Pin Round Trailer Wiring Connector (brake controller recommended)
2 inch Ball Trailer Hitch
Renter Requirements - Your Vehicle is not the only one that must meet certain standards
Renter must be at least 25 years old
Renter must have a valid drivers license
Renter must agree to go thru Outdoorsy's Verified Driver process Learn more here: Verified Driver
Outdoorsy's Insurance and Verified Driver processes give both the RV owner and RV renter extra piece of mind.
Insurance Requirements - Pindrop Travel Trailer
We require that every rental includes Insurance Coverage thru Outdoorsy. The Coverage offers three levels of protection for you to choose from: Essential, Preferred, and Peace of Mind. The Coverage details can be reviewed on Outdoorsy's website here: Insurance Details
Current Insurance Package Costs:
Essential $23 per Day*
Preferred $33 per Day*
Peace of Mind $38 per Day*
*Package prices shown are current but are subject to change until each trip is booked.
Security Deposit - Just in case
A $750 Security Deposit is required to rent any of our Trailers. The deposit is handled by Outdoorsy and is fully refundable assuming the trailer is returned clean, undamaged, and nothing missing. Learn More about the Security Deposit process here: Security Deposit
Not Allowed During Rental - Please don't do it
Taking the Teardrop Off-road is not allowed. Some Forest Service Roads can be very rough, please treat the trailer like it is your own. Slow down for bumpy roads and don't take the trailer on any off-road trails.
Smoking is not allowed in the Trailer or Awning Room. There will be an additional $1500 cleaning charge for Smoke smells.
Significantly deviating from originally disclosed travel plans is not allowed without prior notice and approval. We understand plans changed but we must be notified of any changes.
Not disclosing damaged or lost equipment is strongly discouraged. In some cases, we may be able to work something out directly with the renter rather than pursing an official claim thru Outdoorsy.
Book Your Adventure - Get on the Calendar to avoid your dates going to someone else
Making a Reservation as soon as possible is highly recommended. The last thing you want is to have your dates already taken by someone else. You can submit an Availability Form thru Arizona Teardrop Adventures website or submit thru our Outdoorsy listings directly. We need some basic information to check availability. We need:
Dates you are interested in
General Area you are headed to
Which Trailer you are interested in
Whether you want to pick up trailer or have it delivered
Finalize Options - Several items can be added or removed depending on your adventure
Between 1 to 2 weeks prior to your Adventure (depending on how far in advance you booked), an Arizona Teardrop Adventures Team Member will reach out to finalize your equipment selections. Depending on number of Adventurers in your party you can choose to leave certain items off or add certain items as well. Most items offered are included with the rental cost, however there are some premium options that do carry added fees.
Issues while out on your Adventure - Stuff happens
Even the most seasoned RV Adventurers have questions or forget how a specific feature works. We will do our best to be available or follow up as timely as possible. Outdoorsy provides 24 hour Renter Support as well. Please don't hesitate to call no matter how small or big the issue may seem. Our main concern is making sure you have a safe and enjoyable adventure.
Don't park in the brush. Scratches and dents are the Renters responsibility
